Very nice resort hotel with many attractions for children
Quite far from Yeppoon
the facilities within this resort although dated where lovely with friendly staff
the only thing that would make this resort world class would be updating in the rooms
hotel with beautiful garden and next to the sandy beach, nice swimming pools. very friendly staff, kangaroos coming to the hotel. you can really relax in that hotel
Far from the Yepponn centre
The resort was well designed and relaxing. The service was very good, and I was happy withmy room.
The main bar area was small and adjacent to the restaurant. It also closed fairly early. My friends and I would have liked somewhere to have a few late night drinks, given that we were having a reunion of a number of present and recently retired work mates.
Nothing Not true the pool area is the olny selling point of the hotel. The only reason we go there is for a wedding or other meaningful occasions that we have to attend there.
Room Service 48 hours before they came with toilet paper and clean towels. choice of menu 5 mains to choice from with out any variations from them had that sauce that was it. Dirty rooms long hair on floor I have short bleached blonde. Beds every spin you felt.
the constand monotonous music from the swimming pool are. Even with doors shut you not blank it out The lighting in the room was hopeless. I could not read at night and during the day had to take a chair over to the window. Really useless
The bed was old and not very comfortable, there was no room service.
The staff were very helpful even though they were very under staffed
The great atmosphere and use of facilities eg pool ect,, made for a very relaxing time. Loved the buffet breakfast and found the wait staff in the mornings very friendly.
The man on the check-in desk I found a little abrupt. The stairway to our apartment in the Arucaria block was quite dirty.
beautiful location and pool beautifully laid out
apartments need restoration,I feel that it is over priced for what it is.Most important was the most uncomfortable bed,one would expect especially in a resort for a decent bed.
The standard of the room did not meet expectation. We stayed in the Capricornia suite and we have stayed at numerous 5 star resorts over the years and this resort needs serious refurbishment to match the facilities to the price paid.
the pool area and that there is so much for kids and cheap rates
our room was nice but the toilet would keep watering n would take ages to stop and i had to put the button down to stop it everytime we useed it was pretty frustrating during the night
Terrific location, we had a room with ocean view. Room was big enough for us all, good beds, shower and balcony. Nice food at the Japanese restaurant. Swimming pools nice, water was cold, but coming from the Netherlands.... Very helpfull staff to help extending our stay with a day.
Recommendation: Wireless internet
the tv didnt work ,internet didnt work, heating didnt work
The rooms were dated and looked like an 80s timewarp, which is fine, however they also looked like they had not been cleaned since the 80s. The food was overpriced for what it was. Check in and check out was very slow and the bald man behind the counter was very rude.
